What is Pie in the Sky?
Pie in the Sky is MANNA's annual fund-raising event presented each Thanksgiving, since 1997. This event offers for sale five types of gourmet pies, each individually collared, shrink-wrapped, and packaged in gift-quality boxes. MANNA contracts the pie baking with Sweet Lilly's, a local professional bakery, to ensure the highest level of quality assurance and efficiency.
What types of pies are for sale and how much do they cost?
MANNA is proud offer five delicious gourmet pie flavors. The Apple Crumb, Pumpkin, Southern Pecan, and Sweet Potato pies are all $25 each. The US Airways SkyPie is a rich and creamy cheesecake topped with a decadent chocolate ganache, and sells for $35 each. The purchase of the US Airways SkyPie also enters you into a drawing to win a US Airways gift certificate, valued at $1000. Fair Market Value (non- tax deductible amount) of each pie is $10.
How can I get a pie?

How do I order a MANNA Pie Server?
MANNA offers for sale a stainless-steel pie server imprinted with the MANNA logo for only $5. The pie server may be purchased at MANNA.

Why is Pie in the Sky presented by US Airways?
MANNA is fortunate to receive support from US Airways for many aspects of Pie in the Sky. In addition to providing a monetary donation to offset and underwrite some of the standard operating expenses for this event, US Airways provides volunteers from their Do-Crew to help facilitate many of the logistical aspects of the event. What is MANNA?
MANNA is a 501(c)(3) registered non-profit organization located in Philadelphia, PA, which prepares and delivers delicious, nourishing meals, along with counsel and hope, to people at acute nutritional risk from life-threatening illnesses, helping them improve their health and quality of life. Each month, MANNA brings more than 65,000 nutritious, freshly prepared meals right to the homes of individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS, cancer or other life-threatening illness. MANNA serves clients more than 750 clients in five Pennsylvania counties and four New Jersey counties, and is a member of ANSA - the Association of Nutrition Service Agencies.
What does MANNA do?
A small professional staff and 1,000 dedicated volunteers bring over 65,000 nutritious, freshly prepared, home-delivered meals each month to individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS, cancer or other life-threatening illness. MANNA delivers 100% complete nutrition to our clients, 3 meals a day, 7 days a week. MANNA dietitians promote wellness through nutrition education and counseling. Through these services, MANNA provides opportunities for caring people to extend loving support to families, friends, and neighbors.
